Hello!
So the idea was 2009 (what!) - get creative, get blogging, start combining all the fashion related things I love doing.
Project 1 - (technically it should have a 2008 label on) G's civil wedding dress - 1st draft toile photo to be uploaded soon.
Project 2 - Michelle from Bought Ledger's baby bootays. (again photos to come).
Project 3 - Mum's Birthday present, which I've definitely decided will be handmade. Unless of course I change my mind. Again.
Project 4 - My room - key features: yellow, dark wood, Oriental, Chinoiserie - this, I think, is going to be major, but I can't start this until I've done the groundwork. Trust me, I've just spent a 6 months trying to decide what colour the walls should be.
Project 5 - sew the buttons back onto that blasted carmine coat of mine. You buy a coat for over £60 from H&M, you should at least expect ALL the buttons to stay on longer than a week.

Violet-- I just got your comment and wasn't sure how to reach you! Thanks for the comment. The Chanel show sounds fascinating! Chanel jackets are a new interest--I love learning the process. I might have to find the lady in France who braids...ha,ha! I hope you continue your blog! Nice to meet other sewers!
